Behavioral Health Response Recognized in SAMHSA National Guidelines

We are honored to be featured in the newly released SAMHSA National Guidelines document, which highlights Behavioral Health Response (BHR) as a leader in crisis care.

As the largest 988 provider in Missouri, BHR has been dedicated to providing 24/7 mental health services since 1994. Our 911 Crisis Call Diversion Specialists (CCDS) work hand-in-hand with the St. Louis Metropolitan 911 Communication operators to ensure non-emergency calls are effectively redirected. This partnership reflects our unwavering commitment to de-escalating crises, reducing unnecessary emergency responses, and connecting individuals to essential resources and long-term support.

In Fiscal Year 2022, BHR answered over 117,000 crisis hotline calls, showcasing the impact of our collaborative efforts to improve outcomes for those in need.
